2020: Predictive Maitenance analyzes on the load wheel of uniformity machines
At Tire Technology EXPO 2020 in Hanover, we showed for the first time a new method for predicting contamination or deformation of the load wheel of a uniformity machine. Dirt on the load wheel has a significant impact on the repeatability of the uniformity measurements. These can be determined using additional hardware and mathematical methods and trigger a warning if limits are exceeded. In this way, the maintenance personnel are promptly asked to check the load wheel and, in particular, to clean it from rubber debris.
2019: Extension of our product portfolio
Seichter GmbH is guided by developments in the tire industry on the world market and is expanding its product portfolio accordingly.
Uniformity- and geometry machines for different tire dimensions
Our previous standard in testing machines for car tires covered the following areas:
Min. bead diameter | Max. bead diameter | Min. bead width | Max. bead width | Min. outside diameter | Max. outside diameter | Min. tire cross section | Max. tire cross section | Min. tire weight | Max. tire weight |
12" | 25" | 2.5" | 14" | 476mm | 950mm | 127mm | 400mm | 5kg | 50kg |
From now on we offer 2 additional variants of our machines for motorcycle tires and for larger dimensions.
Min. bead diameter | Max. bead diameter | Min. bead width | Max. bead width | Min. outside diameter | Max. outside diameter | Min. tire cross section | Max. tire cross section | Min. tire weight | Max. tire weight |
10" | 21" | 1.4" | 13" | 410mm | 800mm | 60mm | 400mm | 1.7kg | 20kg |
13" | 26" | 2.5" | 14" | 476mm | 1070mm | 127mm | 450mm | 5kg | 50kg |
2018 New uniformity analyses
During TireEXPO 2018 Seichter GmbH shows new analyses for the measurement of forces at tires:
- LAP Load Application Point [mm] - measurement of the allication point of the forces related to the center line of the tire
- TF Tangential Force [N] - for the first time we show the measurement of tangential forces at a low speed uniformity machine
2015: New production facility in operation
In January 2015, the production started in the new production hall. A rented hall could be left and now a lot of space for the production of testing machines directly at the company headquarter is available. This hall expands our production capacity significantly.
2014: New product information available
As of February 2014, the latest product information is available for download. Find out about our updated product lines. As of 2014, the rim change assistant for 5 sets of rims is available.
2013: New uniformity analyses
From 2013 all uniformity machines of Seichter GmbH were equipped with following new analyses by standard and at no extra costs:
- Effective Rolling Radius EFRR [mm]
- Touch Radius TOURAD [mm]
- Spring Rate SPRRAT [N/mm]
These measurements in the machine TIC Tire Inspection Center and WIC Wheel Inspection Center enable more extensive quality control in the production of tires and wheels. Thus it is for example possible to detect a missing tire ply.
