Service and Application Technician
for high-end measuring machines in the tire industry
Your tasks
- Diagnosing issues and developing solutions for plant and measurement technology, primarily remotely but also on-site at the tire manufacturer's facilities
- Collaborating on translating customer requirements into technical solutions
- Independently commissioning, calibrating, and overseeing the acceptance testing of our systems
- Performing software upgrades and making PLC adjustments as necessary
- Conducting service and application training for customers
- Supporting sales activities regarding tenders and competitor monitoring
- Contributing to the further development of our measurement and plant technology
- International travel (rarely on short notice) and participation in international trade fairs
Your advantages
- Completed technical training (e.g., mechatronics technician, electronics technician for industrial/automation engineering, technical specialist, or electrical engineer)
- Initial professional experience in applications engineering, commissioning, or field service—ideally within the international machinery and plant engineering sector
- Basic knowledge of industrial IT and control systems is desirable
- Customer-oriented communication at eye level in both German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally (estimated travel volume: 40 days per year)
- Enjoyment of teamwork and a solution-oriented mindset
